This oversized coffee table book was a labour of love that took several years to create.
The concept:
Take the Scott Andersen album by the same name, have artists create comic strips (Paul Ainsworth), vintage newspaper and old western dime store novel style graphics (Brittany Brooks) and behind the scenes photos from the making of the album and create a book where the listener/viewer can follow the corresponding content that goes with each song.
Each song/chapter starts with a scan code that takes the viewer to that song, which begins to play. Following along on the journey. It’s interactive! It’s a crazy way to release an album!! It was fun for In Record Time to create this book.
